To mark a decade of leadership in genomic science, CGEn has released 10 Years of Impact, a new report showcasing how its technology and expertise have advanced Canadian science over the past decade.

As Canada’s national platform for genome sequencing and analysis, CGEn and its nodes have supported more than 3,000 laboratories across 550 organizations—providing access to cutting-edge genomics technologies, analytical services, and expert support while generating high-quality genomic data for the research community.

- Deposited 3.4 petabases of data into databases accessible for research use
- Sequenced 743 species, including 47 endangered or threatened species
