Meredith McLaren

Bio

Meredith McLaren is CGEn’s Chief Executive Officer, working with the Executive Committee to lead strategy development, implementation and CGEn-wide operations. Meredith has a breadth of experience in the research and innovation ecosystem. In previous roles at Ontario Genomics, Spindle Strategy, SOSCIP and Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst, she has supported Canadian researchers, initiatives, and companies to formulate plans and secure funding, and led partnership and strategy development. Prior to moving into the CEO role, Meredith was first Director, Partnerships & Programs and then Interim CEO at CGEn. Meredith also holds a PhD in molecular genetics from the University of Toronto.
